Ever wonder how your vanity stacks up against others? Or what products makeup pros and other lifestyle influencers use? We were curious too so we asked some of our favorite beauty pros, fashion designers and wellness experts to open up their beauty bags. Here's an up close look!
Sonia Kashuk, Makeup Artist and Founder of Sonia Kashuk Beauty
“I am a lover of lotions and potions! My bathroom counter is covered in an array of different products ranging from my new skincare items to Meaningful Beauty to Valmont, just to name a few. My bath and body is always up front and center. It keeps my skin moisturized and the scents are so delicious. I get compliments all the time, which puts a big smile on my face!”
Lori Florio, Co-Founder of PRISMSPORT
“My everyday products are:
- Chantecaille under eye concealer
- Goody hair clip (tortoise)
- Chantecaille lip gloss in nude
- PRISMSPORT hair tie
- Chantecaille eye liner
- Trish McEvoy fragrance sample
When it comes to the clip I’m very specific; it has to be in tortoise because it blends in with my hair color and they're difficult to find. You have to buy them in a set with a black one. Because I have thick hair, I need the clip everyday; it's perfect because it's subtle enough to hide in my hair and strong enough to hold all my hair."
Ilana Kugel, Creative Director & Co-Founder of Koral Activewear.
“My make up bag has been with me everywhere, to the gym, traveling, everywhere. It carries my entire make up essentials and the nylon is super durable for everything I pack in there. I’ve had this bag for 7 years and counting! Lancôme Miracle Cushion works so well with my skin. It gives me a dewy, fresh complexion while hydrating and brightening my skin. MAC 129SE Powder/Blush Brush was made for me! It’s small, compact and fits in my cosmetic case nicely. The fibers are soft and give me a full, rounded shape when applying my bronzer. Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Hair Mist, Guerlain Terracotta Skin Healthy Glow Foundation, Yves Saint Laurent Terre Saharienne-Bronzing Powder, Lancôme “Hypnôse Drama Instant Full Body Volume, Laura Mercier Lip Glacé, and L’Occitane En Provence Lavande Hand Cream are a few of my other favorites. “
Deborah Lippmann, Founder of Deborah Lippmann
"There are certain beauty essentials that I always have handy in my makeup bag. I keep deborah lippmann The Cure to make sure my cuticles are moisturized all day long and Smooth Operator 4-Way Nail Buffer for any nail fixes on the go. I also always carry an SPF cream or foundation for light moisture and coverage throughout the day. I love to have a variety of lip options too, like the (Troy) Surratt Beauty Lip Lustre gloss for a daytime look with subtle color or my deborah lippmann Sexyback lipstick for brighter, fuller coverage. L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara is a must–have in my bag too – it thickens my lashes amazingly and is a great inky black. With a bit of mascara and lipstick you can completely change your look from day to night!"
Neha Kapur Nayyar, Founder and Creative Director of Hensely

- Dior Addict Lip Glow - 001
- Dior Vernis Na Lacquer - 403
- Givenchy Noir Couture Volume - 1 Black Taffeta

Kelly Morris, Meditation Expert and Awakening Coach
"Living in NYC, running from client to client, battling the crowds, dealing with the mayhem, we need an arsenal of beauty-enhancing products to prevent stress from aging us decades! My favorite beauty alchemy is daily meditation but I always have plenty of Dr. Jart's, a great line out of South Korea I discovered on hand, plenty of organic avocados to keep my skin glowing, Tom's Fluoride-Free toothpaste (Google effects of fluoride!), Dr. Tung's AMAZING dental floss (trust me), Arjuna garments to protect me from the harmful radio waves aging me from all my electronic devices, a fine red burgundy in case the meditating doesn't do the trick, palo santo to banish negatives vibes."
Dr. Holly Phillips, Board Certified Internist and author of The Exhaustion Breakthrough
"Clinique’s lotion has been around for years and it’s great. This one feels moisturizing but still light on the skin. Plus, I love that it’s not scented. The Aestelance protein mask is amazing. It takes out all of the tangles in my hair and it doesn’t feel greasy afterwards. I even use it on my two little girls who both have extremely curly hair! Vaseline is my staple. There is nothing that gets rid of chapped lips better. I put it on bug bites, dry skin, rashes - an oldie but goodie for good reason. Kiel’s lip balm is always in my purse. Unless I’m doing something fancy, it is my lip gloss because it has some sheen to it. When filming for CBS, I love MAC Lipglass. It has a bit of a shimmer and shine but still looks natural. I'm very into the new beauty trend called "strobing" rather than contouring - gives a lumincest pop to your cheek bones and the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfecter works wonders by adding a little highlight to certain parts of your face. I tend to not wear a ton of heavy make up or foundation so this does the trick! Lastly, FACE Stockholm Eyedust: a sparkly, loose eye shadow that helps make me look awake, even if I am a bit tired… just a little bit on the inner corner of the eye and good to go!"
